Joon’s learning to weave

It’s been a long time, but I have an opportunity to work with this girl. Ken took the two young ‘unsĀ  (Genie and Zip) on a road trip for a week or so, and it’s my assignment to teach Joon to weave. Trial Report, Lebanon, Indiana II

I thought it was cold on Saturday! It was 32 degrees on Sunday morning, and it took a long time for the sun to come out. Extra brrrr! Sunday Ken and Jolt had no Qs, though he got through his opening in Snooker and through 4, and then timed out, with 34 points. Trial report, Lebanon, Indiana I

Cold this morning (39 degrees brrr). Warmed up, sunny and perfect agility day. Small entry (400-some runs today and tomorrow). Lois Marks is the Masters judge, Laura Miller S/A. Actually good, fun, challenging courses all ’round. Ken ran Jolt, went 1st with a Q in Jumpers. Otherwise they had blips and blops. Jig was awesome. Genie, dog park

On her second birthday Genie had her first visit to a dog park. This is the ultimate of dog parks, in my opinion, though it was also my first visit to a dog park. All the dogs we encountered were happy and well socialized with other dogs. The park is beautiful! Genie, who’s very happy never to see a lake, was quite content doing all the running and sniffing she could do.

Jumping Genie

Genie is not a good jumper. It’s one of those things I need to work on with her constantly. She gets a-runnin’ and takes off early.
